Travel in Style

Everyone loves travelling. However, the lengthy plane rides are always the nightmares during the trips. Most of my flights are between two countries, usually from two different continents. Thus, I usually stay on the plane over eight hours.

It's normal that you worry about how you look and how to keep fresh. There are three keys to follow for plane rides: Cute, Comfy and Chic.

I've seen a recent post about the most popular K-pop group, Girls' Generation. Airport fashion from idols are the Bible for trends in Korea right now.

It appears the girls went for a very comfortable and casual look, mostly sporting skinny jeans and sneakers. They also wore minimal makeup, perhaps some foundation and thin eyeliner. Regardless, they looked very pretty and chic.

Jeans and flats/sneakers are the No. 1 choice. I usually choose dark skinny jeans with soft fabrics since I will be at one seat for a long time. Knit pants are also a good alternative. Any shoes without high heels are reasonable. You want to be worry free for your feet while you are travelling. Besides, you can pass the security easily with simple sneakers.

Cotton tops are comfortable. They allow your skin to breeze through the flight which allows it to maintain a health and hydrated state. A cool jacket or blazer should also be considered. It can be chilly in the mid-air.

Sunglasses is also a nice pick to hide dark circles or puffy eyes. I recommend the eye patch from KAO.
It helps to relax your eyes by providing a mild and warm steam. It also contains essential oils to enhance the relaxation. My favourite scents are yuzu and lavender. There are also mint, rose and chamomile.

I love to check new products from Flight001 before my trips. This site contains many funny but practical products helping travellers prepare for the trip and enjoy the mid-air life.

From it's new arrivals, I'm interested in the two books:

These two books are both pretty inside out, published by Taschen, highlighting hotels and restaurants and so much more for your trips. It also contains detailed maps which are always nice to have.

They also sell adapters, water bottles ...

4-in-1 Adapter - this covers over 150 countries

Vinni Wine Bag - this can protect and insulate the wine bottle during the trip against impact and leakage. Make sure to pack many before going to Europe.

Citrus Zinger Water Bottle - this is the "IT" bottle in Asia. You can use the citrus press to extract juices and infuse them directly into your water bottle. Made of BPA/EA free tritan plastics and dishwasher safe.
