Back in the 90s, I fell asleep hugging my walkman while listening to Jolin’s albums. Day after day, her voice has been accompanying me from walkman to CD-ROM, MP3 to iPod, and I have graduated, grown and been defined. I am witnessing her transformations, and her music is helping me through polishing.
She was a girl from the neighbourhood in "1019" under Universal. A youthful face with baby fat and songs with love for 19-year-old.
Sony practically gave Jolin's a new music career. Like the title song, she changed to a princess with her knights.
Warner has pushed her to a new level after years of dedications. I’m proud that she has achieved so many with this new album - Play and was so excited when the world tour announced even Canada was excluded. The play world tour has so far shown multiple aspects of Jolin to us.
Mermaid: I'm not fond of this outfit. The skirt looks cheap for the princess (may be designed for easy-changing).
Great Gatsby: Jolin looks adorable with the Gatsby accessaries.
Barbie: Vintage and perfect. Cat-eye and stripes are perfect for a beach look this summer.
Medusa: The snake-heads hat is scary but spot-on as Medusa.
