Leaving the beautiful and exotic Sevilla, we are heading to Granada, and making a detour to Gibraltar.
P.S.: Above picture was taken with CASIO EXILIM camera. I think it's TR10. My mum said would get me the last version, TR15, later! LOL ^-^
Gibraltar is a British territory at the entrance of the Mediterranean. The Rock of Gibraltar is the only landmark. But it’s not the most attractive after all. It’s my first close interaction with the Mediterranean. The crystal blue, silky clearance and motionless silence dissolved my tightest nerve.
We had a small peak at Malaga, one of the oldest cities in the world. Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga. We later visited St. Paul du Vence, where Picasso spent time painting and sculpturing in France.
Granada is one of my favorite during the trip, which is located at the foot of Sierra Nevada mountains, at the confluence of three rivers: Beiro, Darro and Genil. The Spanish-Muslin art, the Alhambra, is Granada’s most emblematic monument.
We were staying at Casa Morisca Hotel, an ancient building dating back to the end of the 15th centura, lying peacefully at the foot of the Alhambra.
During dinner time, we walked down the hill to downtown Granada.
On the morning of the next day, we climbed against Sierra Nevada to the Alhambra. My mum and I were wearing matching tops!
An incident happened before we were leaving Granada. One of our cars were tolled. We ended up paying around 100 euro for it. So make sure you park at the right spot.
