Toledo, Day 4, Spain

Toledo, locating in central Spain, is only 70 km south of Madrid. We planned to stay at Westin Hotel in Madrid for three days. Thus, Toledo can only be a one-day-stop-by, unfair for this “City of the Three Cultures”: Christian, Muslim and Jewish mixture.

After a quick bite, we visited the library to avoid the sun. Honestly, the sun is Spain is really harsh on skin. You can have a peak of Toledo there.

And then, we drove all the way up to the mountaintop for the nice 150 degree view, which is surrounded by Tagus River. FYI, the top is from Wolford, shorts are Guess.

We found a newly opened shop with local products. Delicious ham, drinks and saffron. We spent over 500 euro together in this shop along. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take the two wines with me, the most popular ones by Toledo locals. The creamy one is produced and only sold in Toledo.

After visiting the cathedral, we left Toledo.
