Find Your Four-Leaf Clover

St. Patrick’s Day is the best time to gather friends and color everything green. To me, it represents spring is coming and winter is packing up for its year-long leave.

Actually, the real St. Patrick wasn’t Irish. Based on the author of St. Patrick of Ireland: A Biography, he was born in Britain to a wealthy Christian family. He was later kidnapped and sent to Ireland as a slave. He changed his view of Christianity and became loyal to his religion there.

He spent the rest of his life converting the Irish to Christianity while he was using the three leaves of a shamrock to explain the Christian holy trinity. The custom of wearing one started back to the 17th - 18th centuries.

Green is not usually seen in my closet. If you want to dress like a green elf, but don’t waste money on something you are only going to wear once, what should you buy? What do I plan to wear for this year?

Emma Cook’s cotton-jersey sweatshirt + Michael Kors’s silk-crepe shorts + Converse sneakers
You want to comfortable and casual on St. Patrick’s day. This bright green sweatshirt is loose, soft and has a zebra-print on the front. The shorts’ fluted cut makes it like a mini skirt.

Madrid, Day 6 - 7, Spain

Madrid, the capital of Spain, is the third largest city in the EU, after London and Berlin.

Every Spanish soccer fan will recognize this!

Segovia, Day 5, Spain

Segovia is the capital of Segovia Province (belongs to to Castile and Leon), is located within the Iberian Peninsula. The first inhabitants named the city Segobriga. The term Sego means “victory” in Celtiberian and the suffix means “city” or “strength”. Later, the Romans and Arabs changed the name to Segovia.

Oscar - The Red Carpet Looks

The 86th Oscar wrapped up tonight at the Hollywood & Highland Center, California. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners! You will get it next time, Leo. What are the “yes” and “no” dresses for me?

Angelina Jolie in Elie Saab. She looks stunning and sexy as always, especially when she was on stage. A wavy hairstyle would be better.

Cate Blanchett in Armani Prive Couture. A very luxurious, soft-toned, but complicated and over-embellished dress. The seashell earrings from Gucci are a burden for this look. Maybe she should search for a new stylist. Still, congratulations!

Oscar - red carpet jewelleries

86th Oscar will be streaming tomorrow night. Nobody can look away from the jewels on every celebrity

Kimberly McDonald - 18-karat gold ring:
This ring consists several reclaimed materials: 1.35-carats of diamonds, 2 Uvarovite garnets are carefully handcrafted to have a edgy and unique look.

Pippa Small - 18-karat gold necklace:
Chunky ruby stones and 18-karat gold beads compose together for the free-spirit piece. May not be the best red carpet piece to go for. But would look stunning with a strapless gown or anything Bohemian.

Lydia Courteille - 18-karat gold earrings:
22.4-carats of jade (China), 4.03-carats of red sapphires and 0.04-carats of diamonds define a luxurious, oriental and imperial scent feel. Inspired from animals, cute lizards are crafted on the hoop.

House of Waris Rare - 18-karat gold cuff:

Inspried by a line from Pablo Neruda’s Sonnet SVII and defining the love between the shadow and sold. The honeycomb layers create depth and shadow from different angles. Limited edition of 10.

Oscar - red carpet clutch

86th Oscar will be streaming tomorrow night. Designers' signature clutches flood the red carpet every year.

Alexander McQueen - Knuckle appliqued box clutch:
McQueen’s signature Knuckle box sand satin clutch. It has ivory embroidery, cream macrame flowers, gold studs. Works against any pretty piece.

Jimmy Choo - Chandra elaphe clutch:
It’s a 12’’ * 6’’ clutch with an internal zipped pocket, which is perfect for day or night. The neon-lime hue and the gold magnetic-fastening chain will be the statement of your look.

Oscar - red carpet gowns

86th Oscar will be streaming tomorrow night. The red carpet has been my favourite part since I was a little girl, falling love with all the beautiful gowns.

Valentino - Embellished neon duchess satin gown:
It’s rare to see a bright neon citrus gown. The Valentino piece stands out among other black, grey or white gowns. The duchess satin is from the Resort’ 14 collection and is embellished with crystals and beads, aiming for glamours.

Matthew Williamson - Cactus Garden printed silk-chiffon gown:
I can’t resist the texture of silk-chiffon. Lightweight, soft and float with movements. Known for its luxe bohemian embellishment, this fresh and beautiful gown will bring a sense of the long-waited spring.
