Find Your Four-Leaf Clover

St. Patrick’s Day is the best time to gather friends and color everything green. To me, it represents spring is coming and winter is packing up for its year-long leave.

Actually, the real St. Patrick wasn’t Irish. Based on the author of St. Patrick of Ireland: A Biography, he was born in Britain to a wealthy Christian family. He was later kidnapped and sent to Ireland as a slave. He changed his view of Christianity and became loyal to his religion there.

He spent the rest of his life converting the Irish to Christianity while he was using the three leaves of a shamrock to explain the Christian holy trinity. The custom of wearing one started back to the 17th - 18th centuries.

Green is not usually seen in my closet. If you want to dress like a green elf, but don’t waste money on something you are only going to wear once, what should you buy? What do I plan to wear for this year?

Emma Cook’s cotton-jersey sweatshirt + Michael Kors’s silk-crepe shorts + Converse sneakers
You want to comfortable and casual on St. Patrick’s day. This bright green sweatshirt is loose, soft and has a zebra-print on the front. The shorts’ fluted cut makes it like a mini skirt.

3.1 Phillip Lim’s embellished top + T by Alexander Wang’s mini skirt + KENZO’s sneakers
This top is a perfect mix of embellishment, draping and texture to stand you out among the crowd. The mint color makes the entire look vivid and fresh. Put on the sneakers, and you are ready for parades, parties and beer all day long!

Chloe’s biker jacket + Joseph’s crepe pants + MICHAEL Michael Kors’s flats

The color-clock crepe pants are an athletic-inspired style and have elasticated waistband which is comfortable to wear. It is still cold here. The biker jacket from Chloe will keep you warm and make a urban edgy statement for the day which matches perfectly with studded the point-toe flats.
