桜の時、お花見ファッション - 2

お花見 (o Hanami) means flowering viewing in Japanese, which people gather and have picnics under a blooming 桜 (Sakura / cherry blossom) tree or 梅 (Ume) tree.

How should girls dress up for お花見? With the blossoms being so beautiful, you still want to attract some attentions and also you should match your outfit with the blooming background as well.

Option 2
If you are sitting on the ground, then please don’t wear short skirts or the skirts with wide spreads. They are inconvenient and may knock down some cups (LOL~).

桜の時、お花見ファッション - 1

お花見 (o Hanami) means flowering viewing in Japanese, which people gather and have picnics under a blooming 桜 (Sakura / cherry blossom) tree or 梅 (Ume) tree.

During 奈良時代 (Nara Period), people admired ume blossoms. However, by 平安時代 (Heian Period), sakura blossoms started attracting more attentions in Japan. It was originally limited to the royalties and the Imperial Court, but by 江戸時代 (Edo Period), it became a custom that common people enjoy as well.

The parties usually take places at 公園 (parks), お寺 (temples) and 神社 (shrines). (Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots in Japan) Families and friends get together to appreciate the beauty of cherry blossom and to relax. Under sakura trees, people enjoy お弁当 (o Bentoo / lunch box) and お酒 (o Sake).

However, how should girls dress up for お花見? With the blossoms being so beautiful, you still want to attract some attentions and also you should match your outfit with the blooming background as well.

No. 1 :
Since spring just arrived in Ontario, you should still keep yourself warm. Thus, a simple combination of loosely knit and jeans would be perfect for the viewing.

Top 3 Eyebrows in Korea (2014)

I’m a girl who barely touches her make-ups. When I’m in the mood, I will apply primer, BB cream and mascara. When I’m going for events, I’ll add eye shadow and blushes to the routine. However, eyebrow is a must for me and I don't like angled eyebrows. They mean permanently surprised.

A person can look very different with and without eyebrows. Examples as below (Natalie Portman and Emma Watson):

I love Korean celebrities’ make-up techniques. The eyebrows and the lips are in favor at present. There are three trendy ways to mimic for your eyebrows.

“\ /” - Power Brows
When you want a sharp and edgy image, you can select this one. The sexy idol, Lee Hyo-Ri is commonly seen in this style. CL from 2ne1 is another idol likes this type of eyebrows. Something clear and chic will match perfectly with this style to stage you as the Queen.

“- -” - Naturally Flat
This is like the universal K-pop idols’ eyebrows. This creates an impression of easygoing, kind-hearted and sweet-tempered girls live next door. Top female groups usually adopt this style like Yoon-A from Girls Generation, Suzy from miss A and IU.

“^ ^” - Soft Rounded
The rounder ones are suitable for longer face shapes. However, don’t go too extreme. Too curvy will extend your face. Actresses usually choose this one to frame their faces under cameras. Soo Hye-Kyo and Jung Ji-Hyun suit this style well. This style gives a gentle, feminine and soft look.

Barcelona, Day 8 - 10, Spain

Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia in Spain, the garden of Antoni Gaudi and the largest metropolis on the Mediterranean Sea, is known as one of the world’s leading economic, tourist and cultural city. We took the train from Madrid to Barcelona directly which was really clean and fast.

We as a large group rented a private apartment on Le Ranbra, the centre of the city.

Inspired looks from a Disney princess - Belle

Belle appeared in Walt Disney’s film, Beauty and the Beast in 1991. In favor of creating “a Broadway-style musical with a strong heroine”, Linda Woolverton, the first-time screenwriter, created Belle, an intelligent, assertive and independent woman who is from a small town in France.

The animators were inspired by Judy Garland (her role as Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz) and Julie Andrews (her role as Maria von Trapp in The Sound of Music) and decided to make Belle more European-looking, brown hair, hazel eyes and full lips.

Belle is a book-loving girl growing up in a provincial village life. The reviews from the media were positive in generate, tracing Belle as distinctive from the previous Disney heroines. Thanks to her intensive reading, Belle is more global, modern and self-sufficient.

Peter Pilotto for Lisa Marie Fernandez - bikini
The bright colors fused together for this scuba-inspired bikini. I like bikini with molded cups and bonded lining. That gives you more support and illustrate the figures better. Pair with Ancient Greek sandals to prove your independent spirits.

Kate Moss for Topshop II

I wasn’t following Kate Moss until I went to Mario Testino’s exhibition in Boston. She defines each moment and each movement very exquisite style. No wonder she is Mario Testino’s favourite model to collaborate.

Kate Moss for Topshop

Although I don’t have any pleasant memories with Topshop, the 2014 Kate Moss collection still worths my anticipations and it’s launching on April 30. Kate Moss’s previous four collections had accomplished great sales for this high street giant. After a four-year hiatus, Kate Moss is finally coming back. Is she going to hit us with a bang or a boo?

The collection will be around 40 pieces, including womenswear, accessories and footwear which I believe are inspired by Kate Moss’s personal closet. Based on BAZAAR, this collection focuses more on fabrics and details. The prices will range from $70 to $1,200.

There are four categories:

  • Balearic Island
