World Oceans Day - Kenzo

The World Oceans, occupy 71% of our planet’s surface, are composed of Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Antarctic and Arctic Oceans. Based on our knowledge, Earth is the only planet that has an ocean and ocean is where all lives start.

In 1992, Canada proposed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at the Earth Summit for this concept. And World Oceans Day has been celebrated since 2009 on every June 8.

Kenzo paired with Blue Marine Foundation for its “No Fish No Nothing” collection this year to fight against overfishing.

The items in this collection provide information about the seriousness of overfishing and express our concerns on endangered species. The pieces are to support Blue Marine Foundation.

Besides, Kenzo have asked varied chefs for a collection of sustainable fish recipes. The fish we eat will run out by 2048 unless we act now.
