Inspired looks from a Disney princess - Aurora

Princess Aurora appeared on screen in Disney’s 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty, based on Charles Perrault’s “The Beauty sleeping in the Wood” (1697). She is the 3rd member of the Disney Princess line after Snow White and Cinderella. 

Her sunshine gold hair , rosy red lips, violet eyes and fair complexion define her great beauty. She is usually seen in a pink ball gown with a petal overskirt and long triangular sleeves. Aurora also wears a gold tiara and choker. 

Rose is a key point for Sleeping Beauty. After pricked her finger on Maleficent’s spinning wheel, Aurora fell asleep peacefully, waiting for Prince Phillip to rescue her. The fairies put the whole kingdom to sleep while roses grow everywhere as protection.

Happy 40th Birthday, the DVF Wrap Dress

Diane von Furstenberg recently launched it's limited edition collection - Pop Wrap, a DVF and Andy Warhol collaboration.

It was touching when Diane von Furstenberg introduced her granddaughter, Talita, during the LA launch party, pointing out that she’s wearing Amelia Wrap Dress. Coco Rocha, the MC of the night, asked her “What is it to you now?” Diane von Furstenberg’s answer made me laugh: “it pays for all my bills, my children’s education, everything ...”

Diane designed the very first wrap dress when she was 23 years old. “It was a shirt dress actually .... for women to wear daily.” And she wrote “Feel like a woman, wear a dress!” in dark blue ink. That’s probably her first popular Montra. For the second generation of the Wrap Dress, it targeted the young hip girls. Women wore this iconic dress to feel respected, powerful and feminine. Celebrities like Madonna, or the US First Lady, Michelle Obama, have been seen in DVF Wrap Dresses at memorial moments.

After Taeyeon posted this bedazzled apply on Instagram, all fans are anticipating Girls’ Gerneration’s comeback. 

It seems to be forever since the “I Got a Boy” comeback. Glad that SM dropped the 1st teaser on the following day. It’s set in a hospital, approaching the doctor-nurse fantasy. Varied shads of pink and sparks flash through out the whole teaser. FYI the YouTube view has surpassed 2.57 million in 5 days.

Following the teaser, three new teaser cuts were released every following day to award fans and tide up the anticipations.

If you've visited the Gold Crown Hallmark store recently, it is very hard to miss the glamours and sweet new collection designed by Sarah Jessica Parker.

Not a big fan on her shoe collections, I fall in love with her Hallmark collection impulsively. I had to fight the urge to purchase the whole collection. Each card is thoughtfully designed, targeting female customers. The detailed lace, elegant flowers and warm colours appeal to women in general.

Those are values that are important to me, that reflect the wife, friend and mother I want to be and what I want to help foster in others,” said Sarah Jessica Parker. “I’m excited to be involved in a project that will give people something tangible and fun, warm and sincere, to hold onto and remember the people and relationships that really matter.”
