Inspired looks from a Disney princess - Elsa I

Queen Elsa of Arendelle or The Snow Queen is well accepted among the audience due to her complex characterization and vulnerability. Elsa is loosely based on The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. Born with the ability of controlling ice and snow, Elsa struggles and eventually becomes a strong, powerful and extraordinary woman (finally without helps from a Prince).

If you pay attention, Elsa is perfect in every aspect. She’s always buttoned up. Her hair is up. Every posture is graceful and elegant. The scene in which Elsa sings “Let It Go”, everything transforms from her hair, her outfit and even the way she walks. You are definitely looking for a more restrictive and confining look for the Queen Elsa, or a sexy and vampy look for The Snow Queen.

ERES - halterneck swimsuit + maxi dress
I don’t think Elsa would ever go swimming before her transformation. But if she would, a maxi dress for a full coverage well defines her reserved personality. I love the graphic design of the swimsuit, makes dark colors fun to wear for the summer heat. Don’t forget to bring a band to keep the perfect hair.

La Perla - Crystal Rain bikini + Miguelina - crocheted shorts
The Snow Queen (unlikely to go neither) would be the spot on the beach. Embellished beach clothing is a must. And the crocheted shorts pair is a sexy alternative to a sarong.

Donna Karan - dress
The draped neckline is perfect for Elsa’s graceful postures as the queen. The knee length is adequate. Put on a pair of mid-heel pumps. Velvet, suede or embellished are good options.

Elie Saab - dress
This is a very flirty and sexy piece inspired by the cocktail dresses from the 60s. The detailed and delicate lace fits Elsa after the transformation.

Saint Lauren - mono-gramme leather clutch
Black clutch is handy for varied occasions. With gold plaque, it’s simple and classic which suits Elsa well.

Givenchy - Antigona pouch
The canvas pouch has the fun Bambi print which is more on the modern side.
